Pinnacle Point Golf Resort

The Pinnacle Point Golf Course is an immaculate eighteen-hole championship golf course, co-designed by renowned golf architect Peter Matkovich and professional golfer Darren Clarke. Peter Matkovich has described Pinnacle Point as "the most dramatic golf course site I've ever encountered anywhere in the world!"

Located near Mossel Bay in the Southern Cape along the Garden Route, the Pinnacle Point Golf Course is comparable with the best in the world and truly is a design masterpiece. Pinnacle Point is only a 3 hour drive from Cape Town, and a mere 20 minutes from the George International Airport.

Uniquely defined by two intimate, secluded beaches along four kilometres of spectacular coastline, Pinnacle Point is located on four hundred hectares of prime land, of which one hundred hectares is nature reserve. The resort is home to indigenous wildlife, birdlife and 264 varieties of fynbos - a nature lover's delight!

The golf course stretches along four kilometers of spectacular coastline and boasts dramatic cliff-side holes and over 1000 acres of unspoiled beachfront.

The emerald green fairways and tees provide the perfect surface for making shots and the bent grass greens will ensure a challenging and entertaining game.

The views are awe inspiring, with dramatic coastal views of the ocean from all areas of the course. Some of the holes are situated along the cliff side. In addition to this, the natural beauty of the indigenous flora and fauna complete this unique golfing experience.

With fantastic weather and breath-taking landscapes, Pinnacle Point has already been rated as "the best golf course on the planet" by pro golfer Darren Clarke.

Mossel Bay is one of the most historically significant towns in the southern hemisphere, and is the historical capital of the Garden Route. It is the place where the first meeting between inhabitants of Europe and Southern Africa occurred in 1488, when Bartholomew Diaz set foot ashore and encountered the ancient Khoi-San people.

In addition to this, the unique all year round temperate climate, sun-drenched, north facing beaches, regular whale and dolphin sightings, scuba diving reefs, outstanding local cuisine, challenging local golf courses and the only working harbour for commercial and leisure craft in the Garden Route, make Mossel Bay a town worth a visit!
